Nine arrested after Video of fight between motorists and SI went viral

After the video of bikers attacking SI went viral, nine people were arrested in connection with the video. The SI in the video, Pandian was seen being attacked by youths in Velachery. The motorist Rakesh was aggressive in the video. Reportedly, when police issued challen to Rakesh, he tore it and threw it away. The police stopped Rakesh as he was not wearing helmet. Rakesh was first not arrested as his father pleaded not to arrest him. But after the video went viral, Rakesh and eight others were arrested.
