Bumrah took 6 wickets in total giving away 16 runs which left West Indies tottering at 87 for seven at stumps. Out of 6, 3 wickets came from successive dismissals of Darren Bravo, Shamarh Brroks and Roston Chase during the ninth over.

However, Harbhajan Singh and Irfan Pathan have already crossed this mark meaning that Bumrah is only the third Pacer to have achieved hat-trick in Test cricket.

Andhra based right-handed batsman Hanuma Vihari who is on the spotlight after his stellar performance in the first Test against West Indies, scored his career-best 111 off 225 balls including 16 boundaries. Pairing up with Ishant (57 off 80 balls) who scored his maiden century, Vihari held India’s innings together.
