IPL 2018: Royals keep play-offs hopes alive

Set 159 for a target, Kings XI Punjab fell short by 16 runs in the 40th Indian Premier League match against Kings XI  held at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. Keeping his good run, opener KL Rahul (in pic) kept Punjab in the hunt but ran out of his partners at the other end. At the end of it, he remained unbeaten with 95, incidentally his highest score in the IPL.

Opting to bat, Rajasthan Royals were well served by in-form Jos Buttler (82 off 58 balls). Andrew Tye picked up four wickets for Kings XI giving away 34 runs.
