Despite SRH’s low score, KXIP suffers defeat.

Sunrisers Hyderabad, led by batsman Kane Williamson, defeated Kings XI Punjab thanks to the former side’s fantastic bowling attack. SRH set a target of 133 runs for KXIP after losing six wickets at the end of 20 overs. Manish Pandey scored 54 runs off 51 balls for SRH. It was KXIP bowler Ankit Rajpoot’s show in the first innings as he took 5 wickets by giving just 14 runs in 4 overs. Chasing the total, openers KL Rahul and Chris Gayle gave a good start for KXIP. However, the batting order started collapsing after the openers were sent back to hut. R Ashwin’s side was able to score only 119 runs in 19.2 runs.
