The Kochi's Kakkanad District Jail’s food court run by inmates is reportedly attracting customers with their good quality biryani sold at Rs 60 which gets sold out quickly. Jail Superintendent G Chandrababu reportedly said that “About 400 people from various places come to the food court on daily basis”. “The key intention is providing training to inmates which will help them in their rehabilitation” he added. According to TNIE reports, they are planning to bring up new dishes such like chilli chicken, chicken kebab and other delicious items soon.
