During the third and final ODI against Kanpur on Sunday, Indian cricket team caption Virat Kohli became the fastest to hit 9000 ODI runs in just 194 innings breaking the previous record of South African batsman Ab de Villiers who reached the milestone in 205 innings. He reportedly surpassed the records of Ab de Villiers, Saurav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara in scoring the fastest 9000 ODI runs in the fewest innings.
