SHOCKING! STRAY DOGS FEAST ON ABANDONED NEWBORN

In a shocking incident, a pack of stray dogs were seen feasting on a stillborn baby that was dumped on the roadside near a government hospital in Odisha's Kendrapara district.

According to PTI, the pedestrians spotted the dogs feasting on the body that laid beside the road and was close to the district headquarters hospital. On being shocked by the incident, the passerby later chased them away.

On an immediate call, the police rushed to the spot and found the baby's mutilated body. They have currently sent it to the district headquarters hospital for post-mortem.

Media reports further states that records at the maternity wards of the hospitals are being verified to ascertain the parentage of the baby. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
