The Supreme Court’s verdict on Cauvery has turned out to be a negative move for Tamil Nadu as the Supreme Court has reduced the Cauvery river water to Tamil Nadu. The Supreme Court, after determining the availability of water in the Cauvery river has come to this conclusion. Tamil Nadu will get 177.25 TMC of Cauvery water annually while Karnataka will get an additional 14.75 TMC, said the Supreme Court.
