The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has reportedly ordered a probe against popular entertainment firm Star India and its officials in broadcasting services market of Kerala. The order follows a complaint by a state-based cable operator about “alleged anti-competitive behaviour and abuse of dominant position in charging excessive license fee”. Star India has denied all the allegations.
