Karnataka farmers use Modi, Shah cutouts as scarecrows after elections

The recently concluded elections in Karnataka could have ended up against the BJP, but their effort is something to be lauded. PM Narendra Modi and the party president Amit Shah actively took part in massive rallies all over the state.

Amidst the rallies, many cutouts and hoardings were used to promote the party and its members. Even though the cutouts did not help too much in the elections, Karnataka farmers have found a new use for them now. Two months after the elections, farmers are using cutouts of Modi and Shah as scarecrows on the fields.

Reportedly, due to good rainfall, farmers have completed sowing and are hence using old cutouts of national leaders as scarecrows.
