Bandh in Karnataka: Normal life affected

Normal life has been affected in Karnataka on Friday following the state-wide bandh called by several pro-Kannada organisations and farmers to resolve Mahadayi river dispute. There has been a dispute between Goa and Karnataka over sharing of Mahadayi river water. Organisations have reportedly planned for another bandh in Bengaluru on February 4 to urge PM Narendra Modi to intervene in the water dispute.
