In other (slightly uplifting) news, Jhanvi Kapoor, who has attended the National Awards ceremony to receive the award for Best Actress on behalf of her mother the legendary Sridevi.
As a special gesture, Jhanvi paid homage to the late actress by donning a saree that belonged to her (Sridevi). Jhanvi has also been receiving praise for this act.

Sridevi was announced to be the National Award winner for the Best Actress of 2017, for her performance in her 300th film, Mom. However, as we all knew, the ace actress passed away in the month of February this year.
As the grand gala event is all set to happen today (May 3) at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi, there was a small rehearsal event that happened yesterday (May 2) evening. Sridevi's husband, Boney Kapoor and two daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor were seen seated together, at the rehearsal event. Boney, Janhvi, and Khushi will accept the National Award on behalf of Sridevi.
