Why would I refuse 4 crores? - Siva Karthikeyan

Jul 11, 2013

Siva Karthikeyan’s Varutha Padadha Vaalibar Sangam (VPVS) directed by Ponram, a former assistant of director Rajesh is fast nearing completion and Siva Karthikeyan is very happy about the films that he has chosen. VPVS is scored by Imman and Siva has also crooned a song in this comedy.

While the Ethir Neechal actor has reasons to feel happy, there are also talks that are doing the rounds that he is demanding 2 crores as his remuneration. Brushing all this as baseless rumor, Siva Karthikeyan in his trademark comedy style quips, “Why only 2 crores? When you are writing, you might as well quote the amount as 4 crores. Am I going to refuse if someone gives me 4 crores?” He further questions as to why his producers are repeating him if he is charging an exorbitant salary. This sure is a valid justification!
