The 'Kadal Raasa' is fit to be called 2013's 'Kollywood Raasa'

Jul 21, 2013

Looks like there is no stopping Dhanush. In June, he wowed the entire nation with his lively performance in Raanjhanaa and the movie was declared a commercial success as well. The movie was soon dubbed in Tamil as Ambikapathy and Tamil Nadu was also appreciative of Kundan's sincere antics.

Now, in July, the rave reviews continue for his latest release, Maryan as well. The online space is being flooded with positive feedback for Maryan and Dhanush's performance is being talked about as the prime highlight of the movie. A.R.Rahman's music, Parvathy Menon's wide range of emotions, the breathtaking visuals and Bharathbala's unwavering commitment to the script are also being appreciated.
Now, to top it all, Dhanush has bagged not one but two Filmfare Awards on the same night at the 60th edition of the Filmfare Awards South held in Hyderabad. One award was obviously for his jaw-dropping performance in 3, while the other was for his singing skills in Kolaveri from the same movie. This is Dhanush's 2nd Filmfare Award in succession, after Aadukalam in 2011.
3 was a home production from Dhanush and his wife made her debut as a director with this movie. A true family affair it was, and now it has been lifted to a pedestal with these awards.
Kudos to Dhanush and we wish the rest of the year continues to be special for the 'Kadal Raasa'.
