Raja Rani - A whopping 42 crores and counting

We had reported a few days back that Raja Rani has grossed 32 crores after 10 days from across the country with Tamil Nadu alone contributing 25 crores to this gross. The movie is expected to continue the good run in its 3rd week as well, despite the release of Naiyaandi and Vanakkam Chennai, as the main multiplexes in Chennai are giving prominence to Raja Rani in their programming for the coming week as well.

In overseas markets, the story is similar as the movie has grossed 10.47 crores (1.7 million USD) after its 2nd weekend, across international markets like USA, UK, UAE, Malaysia and other countries. Usually its the big mass hero films that manage to do this well in international markets and Raja Rani's performance has pleasantly surprised the entire trade.

So its a cumulative gross of more than 42 crores for Raja Rani after 10 days. Mind blowing!
