On
17th September, the audio and the trailer
of the upcoming film ‘E’ were
released at the Accord Metropolitan Hotel
in Chennai. This film is directed by Jananathan
of ‘Iyarkai’ fame under the
banner of Super Good films. The function
was presided over by Director S A Chandrasekhar
who heads the Tamil Nadu Director’s
Council.
While
talking about the film, hero Jeeva
despite being the son of a leading
producer had absolutely no qualm about
donning a mendicant look in the film.
Heroine Nayantara takes on the role
of a bar dancer who comes to Chennai
from Mumbai after the loss of her
job due to a government order.
This directorial venture of Jananathan
comes after a long hiatus after Iyarkai.
His hard work is well demonstrated
in the way trailer has been shot.
Director
has pioneered a new trend in the making
of a trailer, which is augured to be followed
by every one in the industry. Music was
specially composed for the trailer. The
president of Producer’s council, Ramanarayanan,
released the trailer of the movie.
Director Jananathan introduced each and
every member of the unit after the trailer
was screened. The thumb rule of the trailer
is essentially to lure the audience to watch
the main movie. ‘E’ trailer
is sure to achieve this. The skills of the
technical crew involved in the movie were
also brought to the forefront and it was
on the genre of any Hollywood movie. It
is a confirmed fact that music director
Srikanth Deva, along with the director and
cameraman are going to be the talk of the
town once the movie is released.
Simbu, Arya and Ramesh released the audio
while Pooja and Namitha received the first
copy in the august presence of Sarath Kumar.
Namitha was the cynosure of all eyes as
usual. Abbas, Arunkumar, Jayam Ravi along
with music director Srikanth Deva were the
prominent dignitaries of the function.
