Remember
the plump, vivacious and luscious Nagma
who ruled the Tamil screens for quite
a while. Who wouldn’t remember her
famous duets with Rajini for Basha? Her
younger sister achieved more than what
she could and went on to become the daughter
in law of Tamil Nadu – our very
own Jyothika.
Nagma
reigns the Bhojpuri screens these
days and busy shooting for movies
up north. She has not let her career
affect her political life though.
She is an active Congress Party member
and participates in the party meetings
and gatherings. If credible sources
can be believed, she is eyeing the
parliament and if luck and the party
favors her she will very soon join
her other colleagues of industry such
as Jayapradha and Jaya Bachan in the
Parliament.
She is likely to contest from Vidisha
constituency in Madhya Pradesh. The
constituency was in the hands of Chauhan
who was sworn in as the Chief Minister
of Madhya Pradesh recently.
Following
this, Chauhan resigned his MP position
and elections for the same will be held
on October 30. Sources reveal that the
Congress party chief of Madhya Pradesh
Subash Yadav has recommended Nagma’s
name as the candidate for the constituency.
However, only the Congress party’s
announcement in this regard will confirm
the news.
