The
band of socially conscious and responsible
artists in the tinsel world is on the increase
these days. It is heartening to note that
these actors despite their busy schedule
take time off to make the unfortunate ones
happy. In our website, we have been regularly
covering such events. The latest one being
actress Nayantara’s day out at the
Prasad labs, Hyderabad where she spent her
time with the orphaned girls and made them
happy.
Nayantara
had acted in a Telugu film called
‘Boss’ where she plays
the role of an orphan. An event was
organized in association with Red
Cross society and an NGO at Prasad
Labs where this film was screened
for few destitute children followed
by an interactive session with the
actress. These children enjoyed the
film as well as Nayantara’s
presence. Sporting a casual look with
a pair of blue jeans and a matching
light blue T-shirt, the actress looked
radiant. She interacted with the children
spontaneously and answered their numerous
queries with total involvement. The
end of the event witnessed the distribution
of books, computers and some financial
assistance to these children.
Nayantara
was moved by these children who in spite
of being orphaned are very cheerful and
lively. She felt good about the fact that
the children enjoyed ‘Boss’.
While talking about the character in the
film, she said that, “It is one
of those characters I really enjoyed playing.
It was complete in all respects”.
