Kamal
called on the ailing Srividhya in Trivandrum
at the Sri Avittam Thirunal hospital. Srividhya
has been diagnosed with advanced stage of
cancer and was under intensive medical supervision
at her home in Trivandrum as we reported
earlier. Due to the intensity of her ailment,
she was later moved to the hospital. She
is being provided medication under the supervision
of expert doctors headed by Krishnan Nair
in the hospital.
She
declined to entertain any visitors,
guests or even her relatives. She
is being taken care by her friend
and co-star Ganesh and his mother.
Under these circumstances, Kamal was
in Kochi recently for participating
in a ceremony hosted by Amritha Institute
of Medical Technology. He decided
to pay a visit to his colleague and
his former heroine. Kamal flew to
Trivandrum and expressed his wish
to meet her at the hospital.
Following this, after Srividhya’s
consent Kamal was let inside the ward.
Srividhya was all in tears to meet
Kamal who expressed shock at her plight.
Kamal
promised to provide her with the best
treatment and told that he is even ready
to fly her elsewhere. However, Srividhya
refused for the same and thanked Kamal.
Kamal spent 30 minutes in the hospital
and pacified her.
