yesteryear’s audience with her
traditional beauty and still has not
lost her charm with the audience.
Trained in traditional dance forms,
this lady still renders a lot of dance
recitals all over the country. Multitasking
comes naturally to this gorgeous woman
who manages a busy life taking on
different roles from being a Member
of Parliament to an active member
of tinsel world too.
Recently she met our Chief Minister
not for any political reasons but
to request him to lend her a helping
hand with a project called ‘Kannagi’.
“I
have always been inspired by the life
of Kannagi and it is my deep desire to
make a film on her”, says this actress.
She aims to give a totally new and different
dimension to this film and intends to
employ latest innovative techniques in
filmmaking. She also would realize her
long cherished dream of playing the role
of Kannagi in this film. Having learnt
about the benefits that have been showered
on Kollywood, Jaya Prada is hopeful that
the CM would aid her also in making the
film on Kannagi, which would definitely
be a tribute to Tamilians and Tamil Nadu.
