Sibiraj’s
career seems to be jinxed. Nothing seems
to take off when it comes to his attempts
at being a popular actor in Kollywood.
The only attempts that seem to materialize
always have father Sathyaraj sharing screen
space and dad always ends up stealing
the thunder from his son. It might have
been due to this that Sathyaraj decided
to let his boy try his luck on his own
and Lee was born.
Directed
by Prabhu Solomon, the movie was aimed
at bringing out an action hero in
Sibiraj(?!!). The movie started shooting
a few months back and all seemed to
be well with the movie. But now a
few rumours are finding their way
to the press. If the reports are right,
then Lee has been shelved.
Why would a movie being produced by
a loving father for his ailing son
be shelved? The reason is very commonplace
in an industry of overshooting budgets
and unmanageable schedules. To put
it simply, ‘money’ is
the problem.
Sathyaraj
seems to have run out of resources to
keep the movie going and after the completion
of two schedules, Lee might have joined
the list of ‘never to be released
movies’. Rumours being rumours and
the press being what it is, it is not
yet time for Sibiraj fans (endangered
species) to feel disappointed. Lee might
just surface when you least expect it
to.
