Balan, the Parineeta actress was burning
with rage when the alleged link up of
her with John Abraham hit the media. The
matter takes on a different proportion
especially when the film Salaam-E-Ishq
directed by Nikhil Advani in which they
are paired together is ready for release.
Some people see this as a promotional
strategy. Meanwhile close-up pictures
involving the duo were also released which
seemed to reiterate this fact.
Initially,
she refused to comment on this but
subsequently she cooled down. Though
the film is alleged to have intimate
scenes, Vidya sees this as no reason
to start an affair. As she is in films,
she would be requested to feature
in some personal scenes, which in
no way indicate that she is involved
with the particular star. As a professional
she is expected to deliver the goods
and she cannot shy away from this.
When she had done such scenes with
Saif and Sanjay in Parineeta, people
did not raise such issues.
According to her she is extremely
busy with shooting assignments that
she hardly finds time to be with her
family even. “Then where is
the question of romance”, she
asks.
Vidya’s
calendar after two consecutive hit films
is booked fully. Ekalavya directed by
Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Manirathnam’s
Guru would soon be ready for release.
Incidentally John Abraham and his girl
friend Bipasha Basu were seen together
at the recent Durga Pooja celebrations
hosted by Rani Mukerjee. The couple was
seen much in love with each other. They
also attended other pooja functions together
in Mumbai.
