Readers might remember that we had reported
a few days back about actor Srikanth’s
upcoming marriage with Chennai girl Vandana.
But that now seems to be a bit uncertain.
This is after a few developments in the last
few days that led to some very disturbing
revelations.

|
Sarangapani and Shalini, parents of Vandana have been
under the police scanner for some time in connection with
preparation of fake property documents and its fraudulent
sale. Vandana’s elder brother Harashavardhan too
was involved in this scandal and was arrested recently
by the city police. Sources suggest that Vandana’s
parents too are likely to be arrested soon.
But the most startling news is that Vandana too is currently
under the cloud of a financial case. She is on the directorial
board of an educational institution in Ooty. She has reportedly
obtained a loan of around 12 crores for the development
of the institution, Merit International Institute of Technology,
from a bank. The details and surety that she had submitted
to the bank have been found to be false and moreover she
has failed to deposit the monthly interests to the bank.
Legal action is almost inevitable.
When asked about these developments, Srikanth’s
family seemed as surprised as we were when we first heard
this news. They too did not have a clue about the family
being involved in such matters. Looking at the current
situation, Srikanth’s wedding looks a bit uncertain.
