Surya meting out step-motherly treatment to Varanam

It was made clear sometime ago that Surya
would simultaneously work for both Varanam
Aayiram and Vel. But rumour mills were on
its high yesterday with news that Surya would
stop his Varanam Aayiram project and concentrate
on Vel, for the next four months to come.

When a Behindwoods correspondent called up director Hari
to enquire if it was true, he strongly denied it. He said
that Vel's shooting has already commenced and Surya's
portion would be shot from 1st June onwards. "Both
projects would progress concurrently" the director
added. Now, that's from horse's mouth! |
