Having done the police officer’s role
for Kakka Kakka with consummate ease, Surya
is donning the robe of a naval officer for
one of his roles for Varanam Ayiram. As a
matter of fact, Surya plays four roles for
the Gautam directed flick. With one of his
friends employed in the naval forces, Surya
is learning the nuances the naval uniform
demands from him.

Varanam will have ‘Boys’ Genelia and Divya
playing opposite him. Now, isn’t that only fair
to have four lead ladies with four Surya playing different
characters? Well, may be they are scouting for two more,
what say?
