Cheran, who is better known for his out of the ordinary movies focusing on social issues is back in the saddle, this time around with a light movie - Mayakannadi. If you thought there is no social message, you are mistaken. "Everything in life is based on the way you see it.

As opposed to the down-to-earth audio release events of his movies, Cheran seems to have decided to have a bash for Mayakannadi's audio release. The invitations substantiate the same. Printed using the 3D technology, invitation of the audio release event is adorned with images of Cheran and Navya in close quarters from the movie. Well, is a philosopher turning out to be a romantic?
Slated to be released on the 9th of March in the Albert theatre, Mayakannadi's audio will have the maestro Ilayaraja scoring for it. Kingpins of the industry are expected to attend the audio release event.
