The oomph factor that oozes out of Rambha simply floors you down. Here in Kodambakkam she is called Thunder Thighs. But in real life, Rambha is far away from her screen image. She shies away from parties, keeps away from men and the only thing she wishes off sets is to be at home with her family folks. She is fond of her niece and nephew, and of course, her pet doggy.
She has done quite a few movies in other languages and right now she is working in Prosenjit’s Refugee, a Bengali potboiler. She plays Julie a bar dancer who has a crush on Prosenjit, the lead character in the movie. Refugee is the story of two brothers who are separated from their mother by the partition of Bengal. The mother gets stranded in the newly created East Bengal.
