The gana song, Vaazha Meenukkum from Chithiram Paesuthadi has catapulted the film to huge popularity. Thanks to the lilting tune, humorous lyrics and the drone like voice of Ulaganathan. The film is now said to perform excellent at all centres. The Chithiram Paesuthadi team did a novel thing to please the fans. At the Ayanavaram Gopikrishna theatre, the entire crew went on stage during the interval. They thanked the fans profusely and hoped that the film would have a jubilee run. Ulaganathan sang the song live again and Muthuraja held the mike just as in the film. Instead of Malavika, the fans performed the jig.
