Malayalam director Joshi was shooting
a schedule in a village near Pollachi.
Action star Suresh Gopi is the hero
and Gopika and Nayantara are the heroines.
A rain sequence in which Suresh was
roughing up the villains was being
shot a couple of days ago. In order
to appear realistic, no double was
used. While doing the stunt, Suresh
had a fall and his head was injured.
He also suffered injuries on his left
shoulder. A doctor in the near by
village rushed to provide first aid.
There have been blood clots in the
injuries and hence Suresh decided
to take Ayurvedic treatment. Hence,
he has been admitted to a hospital
in Coimbatore. While the injuries
are deep under the skin, he is out
of danger. The whole unit is praying
for his speedy recovery and resuming
shooting. We also join them.
