Deva, Vishnuvardhan checked with Vijay
if he could direct the approved story
in Telugu with Mahesh Babu, who is
one of the reigning stars of Tollywood.
Vijay was more than happy to oblige
as, in a way, it safeguards his interests
also. If the film clicks in Telugu,
then it can be remade in Tamil. If
not, it needn't be made at all. A
safe bet for Vijay we think and one
that works for the actor and the filmmaker
as well.
Coming back to Vishnuvardhan's film,
it is said that Mahesh Babu and the
director are very good friends and
were actually college mates. Once
Mahesh Babu finishes his present commitments,
he will begin work on this film with
Vishnuvardhan.
