Sivakumar
is a man with a heart of gold. This
was revealed yesterday at a simple
function in which a charitable trust
run by him gave away cash prizes for
those students who scored high marks
in SSLC and +2 exams. The total amount
given away was close to 1.6 lakh rupees.
Speaking on the occasion, the normally
reticent veteran said,” It is
our duty to give back a little to
the society which has given us so
much.

of kindness. A doctor or lawyer is perceived
as having only one face while an actor has
so many assumed faces.” |

Speaking
about the recent bomb hoax and false
alarm raised by a disgruntled fan,
he said,” I am willing to forgive
the guy for whatever he had done.
But I cannot influence the police
to stop the investigation. He has
to face the law”. In case you
are wondering what this was about,
let us tell you that a fan who was
desperate to meet Surya with a script
was frustrated about not being able
to meet him.

So,
he called up the police station and
raised an alarm that bombs were planted
in Surya’s house which had been
taken over by terrorists. The claims
were found to be a hoax. The man has
been taken into custody.
Sivakumar also said that such a thing
could happen only because films created
such impressions in the mind of the
audience. Surya was quick to intervene
and said that he had acted as a rowdy
in only one film. The entire gathering
burst into peals of laughter.

On the million dollar question about his
son’s marriage, father became suddenly
impatient and said, “I would definitely
inform all when it is finalized and we have
decided that it would be in October this
year.” He panned questions about the
prospective bride. Father and son soon disappeared
from the show. |
