When Nandita Das signs up, you can be sure that it will not be a formula film. She is now working in Anantha Badram, an English film produced by Santhosh Sivan, the noted cinematographer. Indrajit, Prithviraj’s brother, plays opposite Ms Das.

Though in English, the entire film is shot in Kerala and several hill resorts in other states. It is the story of a love triangle, two diametrically opposite characters falling in love with the same lady. We will have to wait and see whether this is going to be an entertainer or an art film.
