Trisha is now working in a Telugu film Pournami, directed by Prabhu Deva. In Tamil, she is working with Jeyam Ravi in Something Something Unakkum Enakkum. She says that her best friends in Kollywood are Director Dharani, Vijay, Vikram, Surya, Sreya (yes, the Sivaji girl – um, um interesting!) and Prakash Raj. She is in touch with these folks, sometimes visiting them for a chat.

When in trouble or feeling stressed out, she seeks their counsel and consolation. Though she is interested in doing Tamil films, Trisha says she likes working in Telugu because stories there are specially evolved with Trisha in mind. She has become a kind of angel to her Andhra fans.
