Diya’s outfit drama
February 24, 2006

Diya

Diya does not mind show-the-navel outfits in films. Yet, she dresses like a traditional Indian girl when at home. The reason? Her strict grandmother who has strong ideas about the attire that girls should wear. So, Diya who wears clothes which reveal more than they cover could be seen only in Salwar Kameez or Pavadai thavani. It is said that her grandmother moves out of the room in anger, whenever clippings from Diya’s movies are telecast with her in um..um.. not so modest clothes. What would the poor old lady do if she watched the whole film in a theatre?
