Lyricist Pa Vijay is a happy man. He has crossed
his 1000th song mark and he is now not an ordinary
lyricist—he is a National Award Winner lyricist.
There is another reason for him to feel happy;
he is going to pen for Ilayaraja for the first
time in Cheran's Maayakkannaadi. The guy feels
highly grateful to both Cheran and Ilayaraja.
When it comes to National Award, Vijay is not
at all modest. He proudly tells everyone about
it and has it inscribed even on his nameplate.
