Vasundhara Das made her debut in Kamal's Hey Ram.
A couple of movies followed but nothing big happened.
The singer-turned-artiste then moved to the Malabar
Coast to do some Malayalam films. She paired with
Mohan Lal in Ravana Prabhu and then made a special
appearance in a Mamooty starrer. From there she
went to Bollywood, singing for Hindi movies and
making albums. The diva has now come back to Malayalam
once again, pairing with Srinivasan in a comedy
caper Ottakannan, directed by Sashi Shanker, the
guy who gave you the Dilip starrer Kunji Koonan.
Attempts are under way to pull this beauty with
brain back again into Tamil also. |
