Director Shankar’s production company is
making another movie called Veyil. Directed by
Shankar’s assistant Vasanthabalan, the movie
has SS Music fame Sriya Reddy who has already
done a couple of Malayalam films, in the lead
female role. Pasupathi and Bharath have signed
up as heroes. It is strange that a trendy young
girl like Sriya playing a woman, a mother of a
five-year old, from the country side. However,
Sriya has a different opinion: “So what
I play a mother of a five-year old. I’m
entering cinema and I want to come in a different
way. And this is a good opening. I’m doing
a role of substance.” A VVIP congratulated
her for a successful film career. The VVIP is
none other than Superstar Rajinikanth, who is
her neighbour in Poes Garden. |
