The postproduction works for the movie are said to be progressing at a slow pace. The reason is that the director is not able to decide as to what to edit and what to include.

He is reportedly so impressed with most of the scenes that he wants to include all of them in the movie. But then that cannot happen and owing to pressure from dad and producer A.M.Rathnam, has painstakingly decided on what to cut out. The race against time is on as Rathnam wants to release the movie well before the Diwali rush begins.
