is high time to give his son a break
in the movies. He is producing Lee
with Sibi and Nila in the lead. The
movie will be directed by the Kokki
director Prabhu Soloman. Sathyaraj
claims to have impressed by the story
Prabhu narrated and decided to produce
the movie himself with Sibi. Lee’s
shoot started with an official ceremony
to mark its take off in Chennai.
Sathyaraj hailed the Tamil Nadu Chief
Minister Karunanidhi for his announcement
of financial grant for the movie Periyar.
He asserted that the Chief Minister’s
recognition to the movie would lift
the movie to world standards.
Sathyaraj
further stated that it served as an inspiration
for his new production venture, for the
Chief Minister’s announcement made
him confident that low budget movies can
