In
the past history, Rajnikanth never showed
interest in Nadigar Sangam activities
and Kamal Hassan showed a marginal interest
in their functioning. They have genuine
reasons for their behavior. In times of
crisis faced by Kamal and Rajni in the
past, Nadigar Sangam never came to their
rescue. During the times of Virumaandi
and Mumbai Express title controversy,
Kamal had to fight a lone battle. Same
is the case with Rajnikanth during Baba.
So this has really kept the stars away
from the Sangam activities. This time
both the stars even boycotted the association
elections. But attempts are on to make
these mega stars get involved in association
activities.
