But it is true. The normal norm of any of
Selva’s movie is the standard fixture
of Yuvan Shankar Raja in the music department.
Theirs is a successful and unique combination
and Yuvan’s working style would perfectly
complement Selva’s. Both of them seem
to understand each other’s needs perfectly
and there is total harmony in their working
style.
Yuvan’s music is always the
highlight of Selva’s movie and
as regards the back ground scores,
Yuvan does it perfectly realizing
the mood and tone of the situation.
Yuvan also has a reputation of breaking
director–music director pair
and we have told your earlier how
he managed to break P Vasu–Vidhyasagar
pair and some others too. Now here
comes some one else to break Yuvan–Selva
pair. And it is our A R Rahman. Hence
it comes only as a poetic justice
that Rahman would be the music director
of Selva’s movie.

R Rahman would be scoring Selva’s
next Hindi movie tentatively, titled Mehbeth.
This seems to be a new and interesting
combination and let us wait and watch
for the magic that this duo would be weaving
on the silver screen.
