In keeping with the trend of encouraging new talent, director Shankar has provided the platform for his associate Vasanthabalan to direct Veyyil. The film has Bharath, Bhavana, Priyanka and Shriya Reddy. The film’s music composer is also a debutante although he has a more famous relative. Prakash, who is the son of ARR’s sister, is the composer of Veyyil. Prakash had earlier sung in Rahman’s ilms. Veyyil shooting is on at Virudhunagar and director Vasanthabalan said that the story was taken from real life. Remember Joshoa Sridhar who composed the songs for Kadhal hit it off well? We hope the Shankar magic will work for Prakash as well.
