It may not be exactly a rags-to-riches story.
But how Mishkin, of Chittiram Pesudhadi fame
got into films has all the ingredients to weave
another celluloid dream. We had already informed
that Mishkin was once working in Landmark, a
book store. In one of the recent felicitation
events, the director with unconventional looks,
recalled the day when director Kathir walked
into Landmark looking for references on Indepedence
of India and Mishkin came back with some forty
titles! Hugely impressed by Mishkin’s
passion for books and research, Kathir was curious
to know what he wanted to do with his life.
Mishkin confided that he wanted to do films.
