Kamal Haasan’s proposal
October 10, 2009

Kamal Haasan has stressed on the need of an institute for the film technicians. Recalling his earlier days in the film industry, Kamal said that his first preference was to enter the filmdom as a technician but fate, in the form of K Balachandar, made him a star.

The actor said that though there are film institutes in India like the one in Pune, Chennai needs its own college for the purpose. Kamal advised the technicians to equip themselves with the latest technology and not shun it for want of knowledge.
