The
battle between Sun TV and Kalaignar
TV seems to have intensified. Recently,
Azhagiri’s son Durai Dayanidhi
had bought the rights of Vaaranam Aayiram
and Silambaatam.
So far fans could get a glimpse of Vaaranam
Aayiram only on Kalaignar TV. The situation
was no different
where Sun TV productions are concerned.
With this competition getting deeper, monopoly
seems to be creeping in the world of television.
Bagging of exclusive rights also means that
only Kalaignar TV gets to telecast the trailers
of both the movies.
