Asin’s No to Vijay

Vijay is currently busy with Prabhu Deva’s Villu which will be wrapped up soon. After this his next project would be Vettaikaran for A V M films to be directed by Babu Sivan, a former associate of Dharani. Heroine hunt is on for this film and many leading names have been considered from Ileana to Asin. It was earlier speculated that Asin said

yes to the offer. Close sources revealed that 45 days of her call sheet was required for which a sum of 2 crore was offered.

However the Malabar lass who is having a good time in Bollywood with films like Ghajini and London dreams is reported to have declined this offer. Looks like the heroine hunt will still be on.
