Sathyaraj rues film fraternity did not help him!

Veteran actor Sathyaraj, last evening (23 October 2008), released the audio CD of Laadam. The CD was received by director Ameer at a function that was held at the Satyam Theatres in Chennai.

Speaking at the function, the actor reiterated his support to directors Ameer and Seeman for the speech

they delivered in Rameswaram during the protest organized by the various film unions. He added that the entire Tamil film fraternity should support these two directors. It may be recalled that the speech made by Ameer and Seeman has drawn quite a lot of attention with many political parties condemning them. Sathyaraj rued that when he faced a similar situation in the past the film fraternity did not back him up.
