Suriya in a remake?

The Malayalam film Mrigaya, which had Mammootty playing the lead, could be remade in Tamil. There are unconfirmed reports that Suriya could be signed up to play the role essayed by Mammootty. It is worth mentioning here that Mrigaya won accolades to the actor and this may be the reason why Suriya wants to lap up the project.

Mrigaya, which was directed by Amal Neerad, is about a brave man arriving at a village to kill a menacing tiger.
