Sathyaraj will trace back to his
roots to the beginning of his career
with the movie Ayiram Vilakku, directed
by SP Hosimin. He will play the
role of an out-of-job gangster who
is retired and forced to wield weapon
owing to circumstances. Roles with
negative shades are not new to Sathyaraj
as he stepped into films with villain
roles. Even after tasting success
as a mainstream hero, he never declined
offers to play meaty negative roles,
for instance Amaidhi Padai.
Ayiram Vilakku also has Shanthanu
in a pivotal character who plays
the gullible lad caught in the web
of gangsters.
