Anees Jeeva claims to be beaten up by director's family

After the sudden demise of cinematographer-turned-director Jeeva, the relationship between his mother Sulakshana and wife Anees seems to have turned very sour. The problem took a new twist late last night when Jeeva's mother, Sulakshana, alleged that Anees threw her and her daughter out on the streets. She claims to have sought

police intervention and that Anees refused to allow the police inside her home, saying that the court had granted her the permission to administer all of Jeeva's property. Cinematographer Nirav Shah is apparently helping out Sulakshana and her daughter in this moment of crisis. Meanwhile, Sulakshana has also alleged that her jewels and silver utensils are still in Anees's possession and she refuses to part with it.

However, this afternoon, Anees spoke to the media, right after her return from the Police Commissioner's office. She had gone to the police, she said, to tell her side of the story. Anees now alleges that it is Jeeva's family who have been harassing her ever since the director passed away. Anees said that Jeeva had already given whatever property and money he wanted to to his mother and sister, and yet they have continued demanding more money from her – amounts to the tune of one and two crores. Anees claims that it is Jeeva's mother, sister, and brother in law, director Vasanth, who beat her up yesterday. And just because Jeeva's cousin in Pondicherry supported her, he too was beaten up.
